HOME STUDY SERVICES:

Home study services are provided to families throughout Texas.  We conduct home studies for various countries including but not limited to Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Guatemala, Vietnam, Korea, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.  We provide a thorough home study in a timely manner.  A rough draft of the home study is normally available for review within 2 weeks of the home visit.  The final draft is normally delivered to you in less than a month from the time of the home visit.  We are considerate of your time and we are willing to schedule the home visit for a time in the evening or a time during the weekend.  Your home study will be completed by a Licensed Social Worker who is knowledgeable in adoption issues.  An agency license is available.  Your social worker has extensive knowledge of international adoption issues and will be able to help you prepare to parent a child who is adopted internationally.  A flat fee of $1000 is charged for the home study.  There is no charge for travel or miscellaneous fees. 

HOME STUDY UPDATES AND HOME STUDIES FOR SUBSEQUENT PLACEMENT:

We can provide you with a home study update even if we did not conduct the original home study.  The fee varies depending upon the country that the home study update is being conducted for and the quality of the original home study.  The fee ranges between $200 and $600.  If we conducted the original home study then the fee is $200 for DFW Metroplex families and $300 for families outside of the DFW Metroplex.  Please contact us for details.  

For subsequent placements, we charge an update fee for your subsequent placement if we conducted your home study with your previous adoption.  In other situations, the fee will be based upon the quality of the original home study.

POST-PLACEMENT SERVICES:

Post-placement reports are required in most international adoption situations.  We provide post-placement services in a timely manner.  We can conduct your post-placements even if we did not conduct your home study.  The fee per post-placement is $200 for DFW Metroplex families and $300 for families outside of the DFW Metroplex.
